Hi everyone, it’s Jeremy with UpLift. Today, we’re working on the Kindness Project, and it’s incredibly important. Hurricane Helene is pacing to be one of the most devastating storms that our country has ever seen.
We are collecting items for the disaster relief effort in North Carolina. Some of the items include:
- Non-perishable food.
- Bottled water.
- Diapers, wipes, and formula.
- Flashlights.
- First aid supplies.
- Toothpaste.
- Tarps.
- Blankets.
- Towels.
- Shovels.
- Brooms.
- Candles.
- Matches.
- Lighters.
- Charcoal.
These are basic household items to most of us, but they would mean the world to those who have lost so much in the wake of this storm. If you can bring several items or even just one, it would make an impact.
You can donate these items to the collection bins at the UpLift Milford store or the Mt. Orab UpLift store now through October 21st. We will then drive these items to North Carolina to distribute to families in need.
If you are unable to bring an item but would like to support financially, please click the button below to donate directly. All donations will be going to the Henderson County government in North Carolina to be used for Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
Join us, and let’s make a difference.
